patti smith always looks exceedingly bad ass. as the godmother of punk, it is her duty to do so. she's also a super interesting lady, and we'd recommend her autobiography 'just kids' for a rainy day read. the book details her multi faceted relationship with photographer/artist robert mapplethorpe, as well as her rise to rock and roll royalty... get it online here!
